One Room in My House is Always Hot

Do you have a “hot room” in the summer? There may be an easy fix.

During the summer months we get a lot of calls from clients saying that one room in their house isn’t cooling. They’ve called an AC repair company and have been told that the air conditioner is working fine, it must be their roof. Unfortunately, that’s never the case.

An area or room that will not stay cool while the air conditioner is running can be attributed to two things:

1. Inadequate insulation in the walls or ceiling of the room in question.

2. There is a leak in the duct work going to that room.

A quick visit from Ready 2 Roof can determine the problem, and offer a solution that will cost a lot less than replacing your roof. We use a Raz-IR thermal imaging camera to detect poor insulation and leaking ducts.

When poor insulation is detected, Ready 2 Roof will install adequate insulation, ensuring that you have the required 18 inches of insulation throughout your home, thus saving you hundreds of dollars in Energy bills and saving you from replacing your roof.

If we detect leaks in your duct work, we will refer you to a trusted AC repair company that will repair your ducts at a reasonable rate.
